Points are credited automatically once your stay has concluded and supplier verification settles.
12-Month Rolling Expiry
Keep your points active simply by booking or redeeming at least once every 12 consecutive months.
Non-Cash Promotional Value
Points are non-transferable promotional credits redeemable strictly for Tealigo bookings.
1.Nature of the programme
TealPoints are promotional loyalty units, not legal tender, cash, electronic money, stored value, a deposit, security or personal property. They have no fixed cash surrender value and cannot be withdrawn, exchanged for cash, or redeemed outside the Tealigo programme ecosystem.
2.Eligibility and earning display
Only eligible registered account holders can earn TealPoints. The checkout display indicates the points expected for an eligible booking. Marketing materials may describe loyalty rewards of up to 20%; the actual points awarded vary depending on the specific booking, rate plan, destination, and prevailing promotional conditions.
3.Exclusions
Taxes, resort or city fees paid directly at the property, security deposits, incidental room charges, cancelled or refunded amounts, fraudulent transactions, chargebacks, and explicitly excluded products or discounted promotional codes may not earn TealPoints.
4.Pending status
TealPoints may remain in 'pending' status until the hotel stay or travel service is fully completed, payment settles with Stripe, supplier confirmation data is reconciled, and standard fraud, cancellation, and dispute verification checks are finished.
5.No guaranteed monetary equivalence
A redemption offer may provide a specific discount or benefit for a stated number of points at a given time. However, such an offer does not establish a permanent or fixed exchange rate for other redemptions, different travel categories, or future bookings.
6.Availability and third parties
Redemption rewards are subject to availability, room inventory, blackout dates, and third-party supplier terms. Tealigo is not liable for an independent property or provider's refusal, temporary closure, itinerary alteration, insolvency or service failure, except where mandatory consumer legislation dictates.
7.Adjustments and reversal
Tealigo reserves the right to correct calculation errors, reverse duplicate or mistakenly credited points, recover points associated with refunded or disputed transactions, and temporarily freeze point activity during investigations of suspected misuse.
8.Expiry policy
Unless a specific promotion provides an alternative expiration period, TealPoints expire after 12 consecutive months without qualifying earning or redemption activity on your Tealigo account, subject to applicable state and federal laws.
9.No transfer, pooling, or sale
TealPoints may not be purchased, sold, assigned, pledged, bartered, pooled across multiple users, inherited, or transferred to another person or account unless Tealigo explicitly makes such a feature available within platform settings.
10.Programme abuse and fraudulent activity
Tealigo reserves the right to close user accounts, forfeit accumulated TealPoints, and initiate loss recovery proceedings in cases of reward manipulation, multiple account abuse, referral exploitation, automated bot scraping, unauthorised payment usage, or fraudulent chargeback disputes.
11.Programme modifications and termination
Tealigo may amend point earning ratios, redemption thresholds, reward partners, eligible properties, exclusions, and expiry rules. Material adverse modifications will be announced in advance through account notifications or email where reasonably required by law.
12.Maximum liability
To the maximum extent permitted by governing law, Tealigo's total liability concerning any dispute involving points is limited to re-crediting valid points incorrectly deducted or, if restoration is technically unfeasible, the monetary value of the specific unfulfilled discount selected immediately prior to the error.
